@WyzeDave @WyzeEric Please Talk to the android dev team and ask them to FIX the Wyze CAR app on android when setting up the car and getting to the last page of the setup where you name the car you can not hit Finish button there i am sure is an easy fix for them please can you talk to them. Dear Wyze Support Team,
I am writing to report a CRITICAL, PRODUCT-BREAKING bug in the Wyze Car mobile application that makes the product completely unusable. This issue has existed since at least June 2024 and remains unfixed across ALL versions of the application.
ISSUE SUMMARY:
The “Finish” button on the final setup screen (“Name Your Wyze Cam v2”) is completely non-functional. The button does not respond to any input method, making it impossible to complete camera setup and rendering the Wyze Car product entirely useless.
AFFECTED VERSIONS:
- All current and historical versions of the Wyze Car app tested
- Confirmed on Android devices (Samsung)
- Bug documented in Wyze forums since June 2024: Wyze Car App
TECHNICAL DETAILS:
I have conducted extensive debugging using Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and confirmed:

The button UI element exists and is marked as clickable=“true” and enabled=“true”

Touch events ARE being registered by the system

The button simply does not respond to ANY input method:
- Direct screen taps (tested 3,616+ tap coordinates across entire button area)
- ADB programmatic taps
- Keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter, Space)
- Accessibility gestures
- Every possible workaround attempted

Logcat analysis shows the button receives focus but no click handler executes

The camera itself says “setup complete” but the app never adds it to the device list
ATTEMPTED WORKAROUNDS (ALL FAILED):

BUSINESS IMPACT:
This bug makes the Wyze Car product completely non-functional and unsellable. Customers cannot complete setup, making their purchase worthless. This represents a severe product defect that should trigger an immediate recall or emergency patch.
