Unknown to me one of my wyze camera turned itself off. While checking my app I noticed one camera was off. I could not turn it on via the app. I had to unplug it, and then plug it back in in order to get it to come back on. I would think there would be a notification sent to me via text if my Cam plus camera turns itself off. If I have several Cam plus cameras in my security system and one goes down, should I not receive a notification? I think we should. How about it Wyze?

This is something that should be already incorporated into the system. I have no idea how long my camera was off. A simle text alert that X camera is off whould do it. It could be a check box for each camera you need notification when it is off, or off line. How about it Wyze, we need this for securities.

Wow. 2018 this was requested. I voted long ago. I don’t see this happening with a $30 camera.
I believe this is a simple tweek to the Wyze app. The app shows you if your camera is on or off already, it just does not notify you when it goes off. A simple box you check, do you want to be notified if the camera goes off line? You check the box and the app notifies you if it does go off line. Wyze is growing and it may be a $30 camera but I have lots of them including other products. The app needs to grow as well as expanding the product line. It would be a great selling point as well as being really helpful for our security. It just takes a more forward thinking directive to get it done.
