On-camera PIR
It seems like a ton of motion detection problems would all go away if all future cameras used PIR like the outdoor cam does now. No more blowing leaves or headlight triggers. Maybe it would have to be for v4 and later, or maybe an add-on module could plug into the usb-a port.
I wonder why the v3 doesn’t have it, while the outdoor cam does. PIR sensors are well under $1 in quantity and would be very simple to connect if you had access to the firmware. In fact, I wonder if the firmware hooks are already there from the v1 sense modules? Maybe you could expose the hooks and let us play.
