It appears this has never been fixed, and Wyze doesn’t seem to care. This happened to me today. Cam V2 with Cam Plus.
The cam is never off unless you remove power.
Off in the app is just like putting your phone in “do not disturb” mode. Doesn’t mean it is disconnected from the network or not doing anything.
I’ve been routinely unplugged the camera whenever I’m in the house. However I forgot to do that today, and only discovered the recorded events this evening. Thank you for your reply Dave.
