Wyze Cam Pan resetting to default position

I really wish I could contact support directly with this but doesn’t seem to be a way. Only an automated system or ask the community.

My Cam Pan keeps resetting to the default location. I adjust the view with the apps and then after a few seconds, it will return to the default view. I’ve checked all the settings, and updated the firmeware. Nothing seems to fix it.

Is the detection zone or pan scan enabled?
Both will cause the camera to move back to a set position.


Neither of them are enabled, I checked and then enabled them, and disabled them again just to be sure.

Have you tried power cycling the camera(unplug and plug it back in)?
If that doesn’t work try a factory reset.

Create a single waypoint for where you want your “home” to be, then it’ll snap back to that point after use.
