Is the Power brick/outlet the same?
No, the Wyze Cam Pan has a higher power requirement (2000mA), so the power adapter and cord are different from the Wyze Cam, and the extension cord that is included in the Wyze Cam v1/v2 mounting kit on our website is not designed to be used with the Wyze Cam Pan.

Can we daisy chain Wyze Cam Pan ?
Is there going to be an extension cord for the Cam Pan?
The Wyze Cam Pan is not designed to be daisy chained. The USB out on the back of the Wyze Cam Pan does not supply enough power to power another Wyze Cam Pan, and the cord could interfere with the movement of the Wyze Cam Pan. We included it for future expansion/accessory options. Stay tuned for more info on what we’re working on!

Probably a tiny wifi extender ? The expansion/accessory needs to be small so as not to hinder cam pan movement.
We don’t have plans to make an extension cord for the Wyze Cam Pan at this time. I will pass along the request to our product team, but I don’t expect we’ll have one in the near future. If you look at buying an extension cord or longer USB cord, please make sure the cord can supply the 2000mA power requirement for the Wyze Cam Pan. If you use a cord that can’t supply the full power needed, some features of the Wyze Cam Pan may work, but features that require higher power, especially in combination (night vision + movement, etc), might not work. I’d say your best bet would be to use the USB cord and power adapter that comes with the camera, and a normal extension cord to reach the outlet.

Why is the Pan camera overshooting during Motion Tracking? It looks at me and then turns 90 degrees and stays there. Is that how it is supposed to work?

Wyze Cam Pan is erratically or excessively moving.
Firstly, make sure both your camera’s firmware and your Wyze app are updated to the latest version.
If your Wyze Cam Pan is erratically or excessively moving, check if the following features are turned on:
Motion Tracking – If this is turned on and you prefer to keep it on, you can adjust motion sensitivity to reduce movement. To do this, open the Wyze app and click into the camera from the Devices tab. Click the Settings gear icon in the upper right corner and click “Alert Settings.” Adjust the Motion detection sensitivity slider to low.
Pan Scan – If this is turned on, your camera will rotate to four waypoints every 10 seconds. To turn it off, open the Wyze app and click into the camera from the Devices tab. Click the “More” icon and tap the “Pan Scan” icon to turn on/off.
I just ordered a Wyze Cam Pan and am considering mounting it upside-down on a door frame. Will the image auto-rotate, or is fixed, and therefore display upside-down?
hello, the camera will need to have rotate image 180 option enabled through the app.

Can the Wyze Cam Pan be mounted upside down?
The Wyze Cam Pan can be mounted upside down without any operational issues. We recommend making sure it is mounted securely using the 1/4”-20 threaded screw hole in the camera’s base, so there is no risk of it falling. Once the camera is mounted upside down, there is a setting within the Wyze app where you can rotate the image. Click into the camera on the Devices tab and click the Settings gear icon in the upper right corner. Go to Advanced Settings and toggle Rotate Image 180.
The Wyze Cam Pan can be mounted sideways as well without any issues, but there is currently no rotation setting to make the image upright if it is mounted sideways.
