Ok, thanks for the update, one question, should motion tagging be active outside the selected box?
Latest: My camera’s behavior changed, and instead of nothing happening when I select update on the firmware available popup, I got a progress bar suggesting that it was trying to do the update. Then after several minutes my screen showed a frowny-face with Xs for eyes and the words “upgrade failed.” Checking the device info showed it still on 4.10.3.50.
There’s still no hyperlink on the firmware download page, but there’s a downloadable file available at https://wyze.com/firmware/demo_4.10.3.60.zip. I downloaded that, put it on my SD card and flashed my camera with the reset-button procedure, and now my camera reports version 4.10.3.60.
Where did you get this link from if it is not on their firmware page? I am having the same issue you are and I am frustrated the .60 is not on their page with everything else, so where are you getting that link??
Dude, revert to .40 by flashing then let the app update to .60, worked for two of us with same symptoms give it a shot…
Uh, you did extract the update file prior to putting it on the SD card?
Extract? Do you mean unzip?
If you mean unzip then yes i did unzip it
Its not working for me.
I will try 1 more time.
I have a Sense Bridge on this Pan Cam now, will it wipe that bridge too when i reformat the SD card?
I think they haven’t posted that version yet, somewhere in this thread it was mentioned as “soon”.
However if you flash .40 a with a clean SD card then allow the app to update to .60 it has worked for a couple of us.
Will it wipe out my Sensor Bridge if I try this again?
I read somewhere they have a known issue with pressing the reset button again after pairing the first time.
Can’t answer that as I use sense stuff but not on my pancam.
My method:
1 download and extract .40
2 flash .40 with reset method
3 restart cam and allow app to update to .60
Never would update from .50!

etc.
Remove the card and format on computer and put the .40 demo.bin file on it. Unplug the cam and take out the hub. Then put the sd card into the cam, hold down the setup button and plug it in. Watch the light flash light blue both yellow and blue lights and let go of the setup button. After it resets, then make sure it is .40 in the app. Then upgrade the cam to .60. It may still show the frowny face but it should work. You can then put the hub back in.
JennLynnC, I copied the download link for 4.10.3.50 and changed the 50 to 60. I’d done this before, but there was no file by that name until recently. I sent in an email support request to Wyze last week about the absence of a link and I received a reply saying it had been corrected. Apparently that was half true, as they obviously posted a file, but they appear to have neglected to add a hyperlink to the web page.
To everyone recommending flashing back to .40, I’d like to point out that I successfully flashed directly from .50 to .60 using the reset-button method. I have no explanation as to why my experience may be different from yours.
As far as whether the update did anything for motion detection issues, I don’t know. I’ve only had my camera a short time and I haven’t explored that feature. If you’re having trouble in that area, I suggest you start a new thread on the topic. My concern here was simply getting the update.
@Blizzard if i flash to .60 does it automatically remove the RTSP that I have on there currently?
I spoke with Wyze Support and the .60 is up on their page now finally. Wyze Support was a bit shocked it wasn’t there!

smh, not a good sign.
Seem a short jump to “If it isn’t broken, fix it till it is.”
I tried .60 again from work and guess what, fail.
