Hi - when you go to record on the cam pan device , does a light go on that’s blue in front?
The blue light is on if the camera is on.
When the light on the front of the pan Cam is solid blue that means your camera is working properly .

You can turn off the light with the “Camera Status light” control under Advanced Settings.
I guess what I’m wondering is when u record from phone app, does light come on?

No. That’s just a status light. Indicates power, WiFi connectivity.
