Same with me, i have been scratching my head as to why there is no option due to consideration of saving battery life. This is ridiculous i am thinking of throwing all these WCO and replace with EUFY instead. My son have EUFY outdoors and doorbell, very happy with the cam after 2years. Disappointed customer here Wyze rep, you will start loosing customer soon. Stop pushing for your subscription give customers options.
I am STILL waiting for the “Playback” option for the outdoor camera WITH solar panel.
Otherwise - other competitors with such provision waiting in the wing.
Dump WyzeCams & get others.
You will never get playback like the Plug in cameras have. If you think your solar panel can keep you camera charged for continuous recording to the SD card have at it. Just open the cam on the app. tap more bottom right, go to scheduled recording, choose continuous, set the cam to record for 30 days 23 hours> continuous with no cooldown period. You can find the videos in the album.

This is completely unacceptable that this is not a function of these “surveillance” cameras. It makes them effectively useless honestly. Just another reason to not use cloud cameras and setup your own nvr.
