Wyze Cam on a Birdfeeder

I remember few years ago the winter stretched longer than usual and we had lots of Robins come back and starve to death.

That’s sad

I know, there wasn’t much snow but the ground was frozen for a very long time. I love Robins especially when they perch up and guard their territory

Last year a robin was eating at one of my bird feeders. That was a first!

Probably couldn’t find any worms.

Odd thing here. There is a heating pad in the water dish. Because of this, the ground underneath stays warm enough that there are live worms through the winter.

Maybe that’s what attracted the Robin in the first place. They can hear them moving under ground.

Twitchy creature.

If you were that small and everything was out to eat you, you’d be twitchy too

The elusive Pilliated Woodpecker makes an extended appearance. They always look siproportionately larger when compared to the Downy.
