I just had two male Northern Cardinals visit my feeder. I’ve never had two of the same sex visit at or around the same time before. I wonder if they are related? From what I’ve read they flock together in the fall and winter, but come spring they get very territorial. With that being the case, they probably are not related. The first one does look smaller than the second, but both look very healthy.

Yes - My wife thought he was leaving it for a squirrel. It’s still there by the way. I thought for sure he would take it back.

My first female Red-bellied woodpecker ever. I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen one in the wild before. In the same clip I had a male downy visit as well. At least I think it is a downy and not a hairy. Of course I had a chipping sparrow and chickadee as well. Our first day with a high in the 50’s in months has certainly brought the birds out.
A Northern Cardinal couple dropped in earlier as well.

The Cardinal couple is back. The last couple minutes or so are just the female grabbing a seed and taking off. She gets the birdfeeder swinging like never before. I think she likes it that way. I wonder if she was feeding another bird off camera?

The early bird may get the worm, but the earliest and latest bird (Cardinal) gets to eat unmolested. 
And the 2nd mouse always gets the cheese.

A House Finch and Northern Cardinal are dinning together in this clip. I am happy to see that these two species get along so well.
