can you tell me if i can mount wyze cam 3 on the bottom of my garage door opener to monitor motion in my garage. also will camera send me notification when door is opened or closed

Yes.

If the motion events are under 5 minutes apart you need the paid CamPlus service to catch both.

Also, Wyze cameras can interfere with some garage door opener radios.

The camera will be able to notify you of movement, wither its the door moving, bugs or dust in view, lights turning on etc. @Customer has a good point about Camplus to think about when thinking how much motion events you are expecting.
