Wyze Buds - no noise cancellation

Phone calls on my Wyze Buds are torture for my callers. Running regular mode with the bath noise cancellation active, callers tell me it’s more like noise amplification than cancellation. Everybackground sound is loud. Buds FW 0.0.3.18. Running the current beta app on iPhone 12 Pro. I’m wondering if there is a fix or if I may just have a bad set of buds. (The first set suffered interference and was replaced). Getting through to Wyze support is a challenge.

Pretty sure the noise cancellation only applies to YOUR ears and not those of your callers?
