Wyze app/Wyze devices down; outage?

Hey, all.

My Wyze app is functionally useless as of around midday eastern time today. Worked perfectly fine otherwise before that. None of my devices are online and connected, and I can’t access any cameras, smart bulbs, or other devices through the app. I even get error messages when I try to LOG OUT OF THE APP, so I can’t even do that. My Wifi works fine, all other devices connected to it are working normally. I’ve tried to engage with chat support, and this AI keeps suggesting things that haven’t done the trick. Thank goodness the smart deadbolt saves all of the settings locally, because then I’d be really screwed.

For the record, I do have Android. I also tried to access my cameras through the web, which has worked before, only since installing a second camera Wyze is now demanding I subscribe to a service just to be able to…look through a camera I already bought, but that’s neither here nor there.

Is there a known or unknown outage or some type of maintenance going on?

I just checked mine. Also on the East Coast, Virginia. No issues on my side at all. Streaming multiple cameras, Motion and Contact Sensors are working, lights (Switches and Bulbs) are functional.

Could it be something going on with your Provider?

I have Verizon FiOS.

I also checked the Service Status Page, nothing being reported there as well.

May be that. I have Fios too. Internet/Wifi’s worked perfectly since this all went down, but I won’t be able to access the gateway device to unplug/re-plug the device itself until the Airbnb’ers (a wrinkle in all of this) leave in the next day or two, so I can access it. This device is very inconveniently located for a variety of reasons, this included.

When I’m on cellular data, I can access a few things and my automations suddenly just reappear on my list. So we’re headed in right direction.
