In my “old” Wyze app (the one prior to the one I have now), when I tapped on the app in the morning, it would show me events starting midnight of that day. In other words, the app would automatically move to the next day’s events. Now, with v3.0.5(558), when I look at my events in the morning, the app only shows me events up to the previous day, In order to get the app to show me the current day, I have to “swipe the app off the screen” and re-open the app. (I don’t go as far as force-stopping the app.)
I figure this is unexpected behavior. Is anyone else seeing this?
I am running the app on a OnePlus 9 Pro 5G running Android 14.
My experience is if I don’t fully close the app and only background it, when I “open” it the next time it will open on the screen I left it on earlier. If I fully close the app and then restart it, it will open to the favorites screen, then show present day when I click the event tab. Are you just backgrounding the app on a previously days events?
Yes, that’s a better way to describe it. I am backgrounding the app. But still, this behavior I am seeing is new, I used to look at the app throughout the day, navigate away from it, and the next morning, I would check the app again and the current day’s events would be shown. But now, in the morning when I look at the app, the current day’s events are not shown.
Can anyone confirm that the events filter isn’t working with this release? I select “Clear All” then choose 1 group and I still get all events.
Edit hours later - it seems Wyze is tinkering with the backend. I can’t reproduce this now.
