Wyze app for smart tv’s?

Anyone know if an app for smart tv’s/Roku/Firestick (like the ones on our phones) is forthcoming?

Imagine having a dedicated TV up on the wall with all your Wyze cameras tiled on the screen like a security command center.

So much incredible opportunity for a tv-capable app!

If the device is Android-based, Tivo 4K Stream for example, install the Wyze app.

Agree. After seeing the Roku thing seems it is just out of our reach (for Roku TV owners).

I have mirrored my iPad to a Roku Device connected to my Android Sony TV. I can also cast my Windows 10 laptop computer to the Roku device. I don’t use it often but I tried both and it does work.

I have also mirrored my iPhone, iPad and MacMini on a Samsung SMART TV, it works but I don’t use it.

Mirroring isn’t the same. It’s slow to start up, requires faffing about with permissions, and you don’t want to tie up a device for sharing. Better to have the Wyze app in the various TV stores: Apple TV, Google TV, …

Personally, I don’t find it slow at all, but still not my cup of tea. AirPlay works well also if the TV supports it.

Yeah, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

Yes! I saw the same thing for Roku. It looks like Wyze is licensing the v3 and original Pan and Tilt to Roku.

Mirroring to my TVs (Vizeo, Roku, Samsung) is a workaround but the whole point is to not have to use the phone at all, Would be nice to just use the TV remote to move around the screen.
