Is there a window adhesive mount for the wyze v4 camera
3M makes lots of good double sided tapes. There is a clear kind intended for glass and smooth surfaces which I’ve used for car dash cams, but plenty of indoor and outdoor rated options that will work.
If inside, I’m sure the typical 3M white foam squares you can buy at any hardware or office supply would work fine. The same places should also have the rolls of the grey outdoor rated stuff, which I’ve also used for many things successfully.
I haven’t tried it, but Wyze Window Mount is supposed to support Cam v4:
Looks like they’ve added a v2 of the mount for $4.99 that works with the v4. Of course $5 plus shipping, the tape is probably much cheaper depending whether the aesthetics work out or not. Wonder if the IR LEDs work with that window mount, I’d think there’d be glare but probably not terrible since it is right up against the glass.
I bought sheets of the clear 3M stuff, it says it is “VHB 4910”. Has lasted years in the hot windshield of a couple cars and still comes off relatively clean and easy when the time comes. I got it in 6x6 squares off amazon and cut to size, looks like it comes in rolls and circles etc too. It is what came with my dash cams and I didn’t see a reason to pay several dollars each for new “already cut” ones when I got new cars. Has come in handy for other stuff too.
But as mentioned I’ve also used the more readily available rolls of grey 3M outdoor foam adhesive for other things exposed to the elements and they’re holding up fine too, it also comes off pretty clean and easily (unlike the indoor white foam stuff).
