Why are Events very short clips?

How do I make events clip capture an entire conversation? My events are typically only 10 second clips. If there is a continuous conversation/talking, why does it only do 10 second clips?

I have Cam Plus Lite, so i only get 12 second Cloud Event videos with a 5 minute cool down between Cloud Events.

I have Micro SD cards in all of my Wyze cameras set to Continuous Recording.

When i have a 12 second Cloud Event clip where i need to see more, i jump to the SD card.

What additional detail can you share about the Cam(s) and any subscription that you’re using and what you’re trying to accomplish? Please note this recent discussion in another topic that may be relevant to your questions:

One thing that really affects sound events and notifications though, is that sound can only trigger an event once every 5 minutes and it is limited to a 12 second event. These sound limits are even in place for people paying for cam plus. However, if an event was triggered by motion, then the AI will analyze the sound during that entire motion event and not limit it to 12 seconds.

If you’re trying to capture long periods of sound, then using microSD cards set for continuous recording, as @StevenA suggested, is probably what you want to do.
