What the HECK is THIS?

Living in Arizona we have a lot of these that looks like a scorpion they shine like that when hit with infrared that’s how you see if you have them shine a infrared light and see if anything shines back. Not sure where you live but if you’re in a scorpion area that would be my guess

Looks like a crawdad (crayfish, mudbug etc.) Look for a little mud tower with a hole in the center. They burrow down into these .

Looks like a bat crawling on the ground to me.

Scorpion if you live in the southwest.

Is it for sure on the ground, and not a weird spider gliding along its web?

We used to have small frogs or toads show up outside our patio door. A creek is about 1/4 mile away. There were so many my young sons named them before we put them near a lake. One every day or three. Haven’t had any for years. I’ve heard about raining frogs but this was one at a time.

It was a spider close-up, just off the glowing, see video above

A person.
9 times out of 10 my V3 and V3Pro would identify that soider as a Person. The 10th report would ID it as Pet.

Scorpions are known to glow under UV light

Some spiders also I suppose

I’d bet it’s a spider running very fast the elongated shape maybe due to the high speed that makes it appear this way in the video recoriding

looks like either a crawfish, scorpion, or vinegaroon to me

I was about to say that’s a common spider up close. Lots of folks see “floaties” it’s usually some bug crawling across the screen. Scorpions only glow under black light not IR lighting.

Not a bug or creature, but still fits this thread title “What the heck this is?”.

I noticed flashing coming from next door last night. My cameras are inside so no sound. Think it is fireworks or arc welding or something else?

It might be Marty McFly coming from the past  well is not coming from the sky because the trees and houses block the light, might be some power transformer or power cable with problems behind your home, too long for a fireball falling from the sky it should be very near the horizon although not impossible, similar to Cheliábinsk fireball in 2013, if your front neighbors have some camera you should ask them to check their recording

I think it is ark welder or maybe a strobe light of some kind.
