You think that’s a bird bath, but it’s really an alien ship disguised as a bird bath.
I don’t know how close you are to water, but I’ve caught crawfish in freshwater lakes. I s’pose that’s as good a guess as any, though I’m not sure how quickly they move on land. When I’ve caught them individually, it’s often been by positioning a large cup behind one so that when it uses the tail flick to jet backwards it goes right into the vessel I’m trying to use to capture it. I don’t know how rapidly they can travel in a rostral direction out of water.
In some of the frames, it gives the appearance of a backwards frog, just based on the highlighted morphology. I’m stumped with this so far.
