What Micro SD Cards Do You Have Working in Your Wyze Cam?

Using:

256gb does for me

When they release a 1 petabyte card I would like to get notified. Until then… meh…:grin::grin:

Pny 32 g class 10.

The trick is to test the audio/video sync and for skipping frames. That will help show if your sd card is fast enough also. I tested my cameras (I have 3) by walking up to them and clapping, found out the audio/video sync is off by 15 seconds on all 3 - I use 3 different SD Cards, all with 90mb/s read and 34 write, found out it’s the cameras that aren’t syncing the audio and video properly. The 12 sec cloud clips are perfect.
I’ve contacted Wyze and hoping for a fix…

I’m using this Rock Solid - Samsung Pro Endurance card in my v2 cam, zero issues! Ask @Bam

I have this mental image of @Bam wearing a trench coat and whipping it open to show both sides loaded with SD cards while he announces with a Snidely Whiplash leer that he has “anything” we might need! :money_mouth_face::money_mouth_face::money_mouth_face:

I am using two SanDisk High Endurance 64’s and have not encountered any problems with them.
They both record for a week on my Cam Pan’s.

Using this 128 GB Samsung Evo Select card and my Wyze Cam (v2) won’t recognize it no matter how many times I format it. Any help?!
Edit: I should add that it’s the same card as the one in the original post here.
Edit2: Wow, I just found an old email from Wyze saying that some cameras were manufactured wrong and aren’t recognizing SD cards. There is a website to check eligibility and turns out, my camera is one that doesn’t recognize SD cards! Getting a replacement sent.

I have run a used the Samsung 128GB Evo with good results. Have 4 of them. You could have bad card. I had a bad SUmsung evo (had a small crack in it. It got super HOT (dangerous) and had to replace it.

Have you checked to see if you have one of the cams with the resistor missing that stops the card slot from working

Yes, mine is one of those. I am getting a free replacement from Wyze. Thanks!

I have one of those 9 or 10 months no problems

I am using a variety of different manufacturers 128 & 256 gb Cards with the only issue being an occasional need to reset the card after formatting. P.S. when in or out of housings the cameras take a pretty good licking and keep on working.

Have 3 of these with no issues. First camera was installed December 2018.

I only use Samsung SD cards for all of my electronics. Have 64 GB Evo cards going strong in all my WYZE cameras. Someday, I will upgrade them to 128 GB since so many people have been successful with theirs.

I’ve yet to find one that doesn’t work in them. My largest being a 128GB Samsung EVO Plus formatted in Exfat on a windows 7 PC. But mostly I use SanDisk UHS-1 32GB straight out of the packet. Mostly because they’re cheap and work seamlessly thus far. 2 for 11.47 Prime

And unlike the pic, mine have all come with a standard SD card adapter.

I’ve been rockn an onn. 256GB Class 10 U3 V30 microSDXC Flash Memory Card, up to 100MB/s read speed.

I accidently stumbled on the Onn Brand sd card while shopping at Walmart and have been using this Onn Brand in my two Wyse cam v2’s. Its now going on 8 months and they’re working out great for me.
