Wyze outdoor cam still requires additional cover to protect solar panel connection. Outdoor cam fried due to rain within a few months of setting up with solar panel.
Request: Upgrade or change or add cover/protection around charging port without requiring user purchase additional cover.

Which Cam has given you problems? Is it one of the Cam Outdoor models or Battery Cam Pro? If your Cam failed within one year of purchase and was obtained directly from Wyze or an authorized retailer, then it may be covered by their warranty. What did Support say when you contacted them?
As an individual that works in government and past experience in public safety, I can understand where you are coming from as a company. However, I came to this forum today for the sole purpose of checking to see if Wyze is doing anything si.ilar to Ring with Flock Surveillance (Safety).
I will 100% remove every camera, cancel my account, and become your biggest opponent if you implement any form of data sharing of my data. To me AI video is cool of it resides completely in my network and never transmits to your network where it could be hacked or sold. I use some of your cameras indoors for monitoring my pets, but at times it could be capturing my wife and I walking around nude or having sex.
Be mindful of the Wyze security breach in 2024, where some users could see other user’s cameras.
We’ve heard Wyze mgt say they will not share our video. Sorry, I don’t believe that. I don’t believe that they have not already. I moved my important stuff off Wyze more than a year ago. I moved to local storage using Tapo and Eufy (yes both) so I didn’t have to pay subscriptions. The bonus is knowing no one is looking at video from mine. I don’t have anything they would want, but I won’t help them against anyone.
