This was a HUGE thing a year or two ago. I thought since the complaint had pretty well subsided here it was no longer an issue..
I think I know a few things (dangerous!)
Your experience may depend somewhat on:
- Your particular cam model - some are better than others.
- Google - a notifications intermediary on Android
- Possibly Amazon AWS cloud (also an intermediary in some sense?)
- Undoubtedly other things but now I’m tired.
