Just installed new cam v4. No matter what i set detection zone, camera is constantly triggering on a tree limb at far right edge of view. Limb is at least 4 squares from active zone. Had no problem with the v3 that was in same location but died.
Maybe a screen shot of your detection zone and an event with the green box showing what triggered it?
My v4 is definitely more sensitive/less accurate with the detections than my OG in the same place was, but stuff well outside the zone is ignored as it should be.
Mine too. It will not detect my truck because I have it in the detection zone but it will detect all the others in the field of view if I don’t also block them. My little flag probably sets the cam off when the wind blows but I get all vehicle notifications.

Biggest thing I’ve noticed with mine is cars coming up the street, the headlights washing across the DZ will trigger it a lot more than the OG, but from what I recall the OG had a firmware update that specifically said it was to reduce detection of lights.
Still playing with DZ and sensitivity but have reduced it quite a bit, and since this one does not notify me of anything it isn’t a big deal. Just clutters up the events some.

Will try to get that next time we get a breeze moving the limbs. Moved the camera, but didn’t really help and not ideal spot as the camera is used to monitor my boats and water level. We are on a bayou and subject to high tide flooding.
