No. If I turn the camera off they go away.
Thank you so much for this thread! I was so alarmed today when my baby seemed to suddenly be scared of the camera. I’ve had to turn it off and might have to take it off the wall for a while until she forgets about it. The lights on the camera are a problem for her just as you describe for your son. I’ll be ordering an external IR light right away. How close to the ceiling was the shelf you used for yours?
