Can the wyze app be used with an iPad just like it is with a smartphone?

Yes it can be used with an iPad, just download the app to the iPad.

Yes, I’ve been running the app on my IPad since early 2018. However, because there still isn’t app-wide support for landscape mode (menu screens, etc.), and if you typically use your iPad in landscape mode like most others do, be prepared to either …1) rotate your head 90° in order to read the screen every time, or 2) do likewise with the iPad. Option #2 gets pretty tiresome, to say the least, and if you have an attached keyboard, good luck.
