This has been corrected in the latest beta release of the firmware,
I have been testing the firmware with Wyze due to other issues with version: 4.9.8.352. I am currently running 4.9.8.53 and the sync time functions as well.
So I am sure the next production release of the v2 Firmware will correct the time sync issue.
