Let’s not be ageist here. Being Clueless can happen at any age.

Credit is not money. It’s a short-term loan that you will (hopefully) repay with actual money. If that’s your daughter, you failed as a parent. Not you personally, StevenA.

I often wonder if these TicTok people are sincere or putting on a show to get clicks and views.

…the 'ists and 'isms!

I have gently chided friends for being ‘lookist’ but I sometimes practice and can easily tolerate it if practiced with good humor.

Are geezers less or more likely to be lookist than other gens?

Are geezers less or more likely to chase their own tails than other gens?

A friend’s geezer dog (10 yoa with a bad back) just started wearing a diaper at night because ‘dribbles.’ O, the humanity.

I believe Cluelessness knows no age. Peepeep want Clueless stories, so here are two.

  1. A man about 50-55 years old was working at a hot food deli section of a grocery store. I was buying 2 corn dogs that cost $3.50. I could have paid with my GPay but I wanted to get rid of smaller bills and change. I gave the guy a 5 dollar bill and 2 quarters.

He rang it up as I gave him just a 5 dollar bill. He could have:
A. Given me my 2 quarter back if he could not do the math.
B. cancelled the sale and re-entered it with the 5 dollar bill and 2 quarters.
C. He chose C which was to walk over to get another person at the deli. The second person at the deli did the math in his head and told the guy “give him $2.00 dollars back”.

  1. Recently a high school age person asked me what time it was. I said the clock is on the wall. The high school student replied “I don’t know what time it is on a round clock”.

I had heard these clock stories before so I always look for opportunities to say the clock is on the wall. I finally experienced a young person not being able to read an analog clock first hand.

A three-legged dog leaped at me like he had one in reserve. He was pulled up short by a stretchy leash so his head stopped but his three legs swung around and continued at me backwards.

There’s a lesson in that for the both of us. We should probably share a beer.

Why a duck?

Should bookmark these and check back with the creator in 20 years. I am sure they will remember making it. And I think its a better than not they will have regretted them.

Let’s go over some important dates here.

Steve Jobs passed away in 2011.

Apple Pay launched in 2014.

I guess more Clueless than we initially thought.

Enveloped in a reality distortion field much of the time. As a colleague you were ‘invited’ to join him.

Clueless? Or clueful?

  • Secret word.
  • Why a duck?
  • Lookism.
  • Clueless or clueful?
  • You bet your life.
