Smoke CO listening. Always works for me

A little noticed feature “perhaps”. Wyze automations, if smoke or co sound detected, turn on a couple cameras sirens for some amount of time.

I have OGs in almost every window looking out, about 5 or 6.

Particularly good for loud wake up alerts at night. I’m smoke alarm pitch deaf . Has worked consistently, no false alarms. Her ears work as backup also. lol

I also route the notification through Tasker and play a siren sound at night to a Bluetooth speaker.

This was Thanksgiving cooking, smoke alarm in hallway outside of kitchen area.

False Person detection in the fog early this morning? No alarms there, unreliable.

I do similar with Automations even though my smoke/CO detectors are interconnected over 3 floors. I also use the “blink” feature for my interior and exterior Wyze bulbs in my automations to get my attention when I’m wearing headphones or operating loud machinery. The more notifications, alerts and alarms, the better.
