How can I educate Wyze AI so that it understands that, in my use case, small animals and birds walking across my driveway or yard are not, in fact, “Important” — or alternatively, are “No Big Deal” — and therefore it will stop sending me excessively frequent notifications about such events?
For the record, I’m using the Wyze app for iOS, version 3.10.5 (2), with the Cam Unlimited Pro service.
Are you able to have Pet Notifications turned Off? I found that having the fewest Notifications like Person only works best for me.
I also have all Wyze Notifications Off for my cell phone but have Person Notifications On for my iPad.
Here’s the notification settings for my driveway cam. As you can see, both “Pet” and “Vehicle” are turned off, yet I nevertheless get almost constant notifications of pets and vehicles.
It is odd both Pet and Vehicle have Grey boxes with no check mark under the Notify column.
I would try deleting the App Cache. Go to Account - App Settings and Clear the Cache File.
Then go back to your screenshot page and see if anything looks different.
Try going to your cam’s Settings and hit Reset Services.
