I bought the outdoor cam for my boat deck so I could mask off the area outside of the deck, but that feature was not included in the outdoor camera?! That feature was why I bought the camera. I own 5 other cameras and assumed that this feature would be part of the outdoor cam.

The Outdoor Cam uses a different type of motion detection-Passive Infrared. It does not work the same as the other Wyze cams.
One workaround could be to mask the area in the lens where you don’t want recordings made. That wouldn’t take some experimentation and would stop the recording in that area (s), but would also prevent live view of that space.
Or, if you can get power at the location, forget about the WCO and put up a different camera (V2 or weather resistant V3 or another manufacturer).
