Will the camera version 3 tell you when your SD card is full?

No. There is no notification of card full on any Wyze cam. When the card is full, the cam automatically starts writing over oldest footage.

As Seapup said it writes over the oldest footage but you can check the status of the card via settings > advanced settings > manage SD card.
