Even so, it should still show my Team_Android flair
, right?Yeah, I had to enable Developer options on the phone so that I could then enable USB debugging. Then with scrcpy installed on my PC and my phone plugged in via USB, my PC essentially becomes a wired remote access client to the phone. Itās not emulation or VM, itās remote control of the actual phone.
Using that as a remote, I did a video capture of the phoneās display mirrored into a window on my PC so I could upload a demonstration of an issue Iām having with the new Wyze app.
Yeah, all three of the Android devices I use routinely have that as a feature, but I get mixed results with them, as I mentioned elsewhere:
Itās handy for throwing a phoneās display up onto a TV, but I donāt have a wireless keyboard, so if Iām using my PC and want to see my phone on its display, scrcpy seems better because I can use the keyboard and mouse to control the phone (it even recognizes a left-mouse-button click-and-drag as a swipe).
I would expect that. My current Android devices are branded Google, Motorola, and Lenovo.
