Documenting this so no one else has to lose their mind. The Robot Vac has an issue with black rugs: it thinks they are a cliff so it will not climb up onto them.
I have several large doormat type rugs (very low) in my workshop. Out of the box the vac cleaned them spectacularly well. After the first (only) update it no longer cleans them. Starts rolling up on top of them then backs off and continues around the perimeter.
Super annoying when you a large space with a lot of these rugs.
Turns out that the sensor thinks its going over a ledge due to low light reflectivity. Its a known-issue but not sure if a fix is coming or not - but don’t expect this thing to clean black rugs no matter how low the are.
