I want to continuously record to my sd card, but it stops recording when I close the app. The whole idea behind the sd card was to record locally while away from home.
It sounds like you are trying to record by having tapped the Record button from the live stream. That saves the video directly from the live stream to the Wyze album in your camera roll on your phone. And that will stop when you close the app.
However, that’s not how you set up recording to the SD card installed in the camera. To enable SD card recording, tap the gear icon from the live stream view. Then tap Advanced Settings and then Local Storage. Turn on the Local Recording switch and then choose either Record Event Only or Continuous Recording.
To play back what’s been recorded on the card, tap the View Playback button on the live stream view.
