Recorded sounds sound like creatures from another world

I have a wired small indoor camera.. it works wonderfully except the sound it plays back sounds like creatures from the underworld…and it’s all the time.. when no one is home.. when I’m just outside.. what in the world is going on? And i believe it has always done this just getting louder…
