Is it possible to power a Wyze Cam v2 with a USB charging device? Or do I have to plug it into an outlet?
It worked for me when I plugged the Wyze cam USB into my Anker charging “brick”…
Not sure if its “made to work this way” but it powered up for me, and I was in my car, so I used my cell phones wifi hotspot and everything worked perfectly.

yea it works with a charging brick just fine
Almost anything that is a USB power source will work. I have powered various Wyze cameras from AC power adapters, USB battery packs, DC to DC converters, cigarette lighter to USB adapters, computer USB ports. All worked fine.
