I’d like to know if Wyze cam V2 and other similar cameras would continue to consume power even when the camera is in “off” mode. My guess is it would, but not sure how much of power consumption, relative to when it’s in “on” mode.

It does still draw power when “off”. I don’t have measurements handy, but the highest power consumption parts of it (the CPU and WiFi) have to remain operating.

In my limited testing it seems to consume about the same amount of power when it’s on or off.

In the thread linked one user shows a difference of 0.29 amps on @ 4.82 volts (= 1.40 watts) and 0.23 amps off @ 4,86 volts (=1.12 watts).
