AI shortcomings

I asked CoPilot and Grok3 to generate a 51-star US flag. They could only create a 50-star flag no matter what script I wrote. AI needs more work.

Some guy online made a program to design a 51-star flag. Apparently it is not difficult to add another star. Last time a star was added was in 1959.

Canā€™t wait for @habib to become an honorary ā€˜citizen.ā€™ I think heā€™ll get most of the important rights. :winking_face_with_tongue:

Nothing is impossible. Greenland is more likely. :greenland: instead of :canada:

Can you imagine the nightmare of assimilation? Monetary systems, retirement systems, just to name two. At least we both drive on the same side of the street. Maybe they can be the Metrics part of US.

I think it would be easier to assimilate Greenland (pop.56,365) than Canada (pop. 40.9 million) [2023 statistics], but I always look for the easy way.

Iā€™m all for The Beebā€™s rights. The Biebā€¦not so much.

The United States should be the metrics part. We should get with the program and also stop this Daylight Saving Time nonsense.

Fortune favors the bold, right?

Canada should grow a pair and threaten to take US over (like Zelenski!) :grinning_cat_with_smiling_eyes:

On DST Iā€™m with:

On The Bieb, indifferent. He had a case of ā€˜weird eyeā€™ for a while. Seems recovered.

Most of us like the beeb. Heā€™s likable.

My friend in Edmonton frequently asks me when Iā€™m going to move, if Iā€™m prepared to be a Canadian citizen, and other things along those lines.

Iā€™ve seen that topic but havenā€™t yet clicked in or read any of it. I realize that some people in the current federal administration (and even people in my home stateā€™s legislature) favor permanent DST, but I think theyā€™re wrong, and Iā€™m siding with the health care scientists on this one.

Being retired, DST doesnā€™t affect me. Consistently is nice, but so is change.

Metric?, rather stay imperial.

As long I get paid in US dollars :dollar_banknote::dollar_banknote::dollar_banknote::dollar_banknote::dollar_banknote:

Who are you referring to? I lost my cheatsheet.

Is the Vancouver Sun a Canadian version of the Onion or Babylon Bee :honeybee:? It reads funny.

Iā€™m sure there are pluses and minuses, just like with everything else in life.

I already suggested Offtario as a potential name.

Pluses outweigh the minuses

That seems about right from an immigrantā€™s perspective. :+1:

Iā€™ve also known a lot of physicians who have left Canada because they preferred the practice environment in the United States, and I know that my Edmontonian friend has expressed a lot of frustration about that system even though she works in health care. :man_shrugging:

Iā€™d definitely be interested in other fishing opportunities, though. :fishing_pole:

That is true, the healthcare has changed in the last ten years or so and not for the better. At least is still free though.

That alone is worth a move
