I literally record audio in front of my camera while transmitting on the app and when I play it back from the album, the audio sounds distorted or like it’s playing backwards. Does anyone have similar issues or is the faulty play in my neighborhood because the cams go out in the middle of the night and cars get broken into? My camera faces the parking lot
If you’re recording while playing near the camera, you’re getting feedback. Just like holding a microphone in front of a speaker. If you want to test the microphone, put in an SD card and just play some music or talk in front of the camera. Then watch the SD card footage. Either that or get far away from the camera and watch the live stream with the speaker icon on (not the microphone) and have someone talk near the camera.
If your cams go out when cars get broken into, those thieves are likely carrying wifi jammers (or cutting power to stuff). Not related to your audio issue.

Thanks for the reply. I also did try going in a different room to record while watching and didn’t have the sound on to minimize the feedback and the audio still sounds distorted like it’s backwards…
