Please create an angled window bracket mount for V4

From what I can tell I have the V4 window cam. I was disappointed to see it did not come with an angle bracket like the one I got from Remi, you say you are worried about there being a glare, there is not one, I got mine all rigged up with pop sockets to lift the bottom so it angles, I had it on my window and the velcro came loose from the top of the camera so now I have to tape it down, looks really trashy. Please make a angle bracket to mount it. I see Etsy has them for like $12.99, Idk how much for shipping, that is ridiculous as they should come from Wyze. Also I had to cut away some of the bottom of the velcro on the window so I didnt see that when I angled it.

Welcome to the Forum, @paris19821!

As Window Cam (which I believe is based on Cam OG) and Cam v4 are two different products, clarifying what you’re actually using might be helpful (I think it’s probably Window Cam with the included hook-and-loop fastener mounting stickers).

The one potentially relevant existing Wishlist topic I’m seeing so far is requesting an angled window mount for older Cams, and I’ve asked the Forum Admins if that topic should be re-tagged to be more inclusive of other Cam models. You’re certainly welcome to vote for that one and post there, if you like.

I realize that you mentioned other third-party sources for angled window mounts, and if you search the Forum you can find other users’ ideas, including some designs for 3D-printing, I think. That might be helpful as another alternative rather than waiting for Wyze to produce something like this.

Without further guidance from @paris19821, I’ve moved this to Cameras with a window-cam tag, because it wasn’t offering content relevant to the Tips & Tricks category where it was initially created.

I tried to reply to you but it said I could not.see if this works, I have a v3 but that is not the camera I was referring to. it is also not the OG or v4, it is the velcro window camera.

Right, so I previously tagged your topic for Window Cam, because that’s what I thought you were describing in your initial post. :+1:
