Please add a feature to allow users to ignore tree waiving; both the tree or bush itself as well as the shadows they project. I’m getting hundreds of unnecessary motion detections daily and have no way to filter them out. Then they unnecessarily capture other unnecessary items in the same frame such as a parked car or item they interpret incorrectly as a package.

There are many motion events that are simply tree branch blowing in the wind (both the leaves and their shadows). I imagine it would be possible to have the motion detection algorithm distinguish between a true person/animal motion (one box moving through the frame) and leaves/shadows (many small boxes that are scattered & inconsistent from frame to frame).

I have this feature on my Dlink cameras, and its very helpful at night, when bugs / rain / snow fly past the view outdoors. Its a simple check box that notes that it wont send alerts for detection lasting less than 1s. figured it would be pretty simple to implement and would save us outward looking users lots of non-events.
CamPlus at least filters the notifications, don’t get waving trees and leaves alerts. Although they do record…
