Wyze Pan - Person / face motion tracking

Maybe this would use too much cpu/ram resources, but it might be useful in some cases to only track motion on the WyzeCam Pan if there is a person detected. I have a Pan mounted under my roof with an outdoor case, and on windy days, it moves around like crazy. I don’t want to wear the motor out tracking shadows, bugs, and leaves. Maybe add this feature once vehicle detection, etc is added. This kinda depends on how the camera detects people. It would have to be checking for people in real-time …

Animal recognition and tracking

You wouldn’t want false alert so there’s should be an object/animal recognition so the wyze cams. Would ignore your pets but would track stranger walking into the cameras. Or the other way around: If you live in a place with dangerous animal and you for some reason don’t want to track people then you can tell wyze cams to track animals but not people. In summary, we need some sort of recognition system that allow the wyze cams to track specific targets and ignore others and get notification that…

Just my opinion (I’m not a Wyze employee), but I’m pretty sure these would have to be considered before small object tracking. Further, small object tracking would require server-side processing of all video footage. Identifying small objects would be very problematic given camera resolution and possible distance of the objects from the lens. Therefore, while this is a great idea, I have much doubt that it could be feasible.
