Not Happy with Pan v4

I was able to stream Cam Pan v4 in Opera on Linux:

Now I have! :backhand_index_pointing_down:

There are a few video-to-time-lapse utilities. I think this one is free.

It’s not difficult to do with existing tools like FFmpeg, as I noted above, and at least one Forum user has created a script to do just that. I still think the idea of getting Wyze to do this has merit, especially if it doesn’t involve physically accessing the camera to retrieve the card for video access, and according to the Wishlist topic I linked that seemed to be the plan at one point.

Changing the app to allow direct clip downloads is easier than Wyze having to add a video-to-time-lapse function.

I also remember the time when I was viewing cloud clips using VLC instead of the Wyze video player. They can do something similar, and feed the clip to another phone utility. Saves them the hassle of developing a new utility. I wonder why Wyze removed that ability to play clips on any phone video player? It was very handy.

I favor both, but what I’d really like (which I don’t expect to happen) is to be able to map a microSD card (via its LAN IP address) as a network drive from my PC. If wishes were :horse::horse:….
