No Recording

I have 5 V3 Cameras.
All offer live viewing.
NONE are recording video at all.
I have turned them off and back on.
Any ideas?

Edit here:
They do have video if I run the video back from the live feed, but there are no events listed on the event page.

Have you tried removing power from them for 30 seconds…? Sometimes a power on reset does wonders.

Cloud recording or SD card local storage recording? Those are two different avenues of troubleshooting.

Yes.
I unplugged them completely.
Formatted the SD cards (which were not even half full), power cycled, and simply tried to refresh the saved videos page.
They are still not recording.
They do allow live viewing though.

Ok sounds like SD card recording issues. What are your micro SD card settings for those affected cameras? Do they recognize the SD card at all? What type of SD cards are you using? So when you press the playback button nothing shows? Or do you get any error messages.

I am also having the same issue. I have 5 v2 cams using CPL. I have had 3 events captured to day when I always have 20-30. I have restarted with no luck.

I have a v2 and a v3 both with CPL. Can stream, and are recording to SD but no event recordings or notifications. Just started today Nov 11

Same SD card’s I’ve had in them for the last year.
There are no errors, simply an empty page where the various recordings should be.
Playback isn’t an option per thumbnail because there aren’t any thumbnails.
Several people are saying this problem started with their system around 4-5 this morning.

Also, if you go through the live view and select playback, it does allow you to play back video (so far).

  • Restarted cameras
  • Already latest firmware and app
  • Removed and added Cam Plus Lite
  • Turn off and on notifications
  • Turn off and on event recording

Still no notifications and cloud videos

Sd card “local storage” and “cloud storage” are two seperate and independent functions . Local storage is viewed via the playback button in live view, and the cloud storage is viewed from the “Event” tab off the main page.

I am aware. For your troubleshooting you just said “NONE are recording video at all.” without initially specifying which type of recording you were having an issue with, then mentioned “Formatted the SD cards (which were not even half full)” which made me go down the SD card path. I now see you edited your initial post with “They do have video if I run the video back from the live feed, but there are no events listed on the event page.” So it sounds like you are having issues with the cloud based recordings. For you, no need to mention that the playback is working as that is a different function than the cloud storage stuff.

So for cloud storage troubleshooting, do you have any cloud service licenses assigned to any cameras that are having issues? Cam Plus? Cam Plus Lite?

I don’t use cloud, only SD.
NONE = none of the V3 Cams in use are posting events.

Going to need more clarification or info on your issue then because…:

The events page is your cloud stored event videos… Please post screen shots of where your having issues. The forum threads in the screen shots that you posted show threads with cloud recording issues.

This is your cloud storage. The events that would be here are saved on the cloud servers.

This is your SD card local storage, and seeing the teal area populating the time line, it appears as the sd card recording is working and set to continuous.

I don’t use cloud storage.
I use SD.
The events populate and I view from there, or I can view through live view playback.
