Running firmware 4.10.6.199 and Android app version 2.14.35. I am no longer receiving notifications for Sound events. To prove it, I stood near the camera and clapped my hands loudly on two separate occasions. I did not receive a notification and there is no event recorded when I look at recent events. There are Motion events recorded.
Please disregard. I found the problem. I sometimes get tripped up by the interface on the Android app. The settings for Sound events “lives” under separate items in the app. This is somewhat confusing. I found what I needed to enable to get sound events.
I would like to suggest that someone at Wyze take a close look at the User Interface for the Android app. It seems to violate some standards for defining a good interface.
