I believe it’s wifi versus ethernet. Almost full 24 hours on ethernet after disconnecting WiFi.
Camera at 99%. With Wifi it would be around 20%.
In my case it was WiFi versus Ethernet, but only the first time after the base firmware update. Switching back to Ethernet solved my extreme battery drain in three outdoor cams. But then later switching back to WiFi without changing the base firmware and my battery drain problem was still gone. I am now running WiFi on the base station with the three outdoor cams and batteries are close to 95% after over two weeks.
The cam with only one bar signal strength drains the fastest, but still almost 90% remaining. the three bar signal strength units are both close to 95%. The problem was not related to the outdoor cam firmware version. I have since moved my base station to the other side of my house with no issues running on WiFi.
