Just noticed in the firmware list this camera is called out separately. Can’t find any reference to it other places. I’m guessing just a new SOC or other part that had to be swapped in that won’t accept the old firmware. Maybe tariff related?
Or is there an actual change/improvement? Wonder if it will be possible to differentiate other than by serial number or looking in the app.

New OG “2025 Version”
@dave27 Now that FCC is back up and running, the new Cam OG “2025” version is now confirmed to using a new SoC Fulhan and ATBM6062 (802.11ax and BLE capable) as the WiFi chip. The FCC label file wasn’t wrong as they moved the microSD to the side of the camera.

Interesting, the SD on the side and no pigtail makes me wonder about water infiltration issues.
I’m guessing 2.4ghz ax only, but that’s still beneficial. Standard thread mount size is nice too. Sort of a strange group of changes but I’m guessing all/most of it comes down to the old SoC no longer being available.
