I have detected a flaw in the Wyze cam software (Wyzecam V2) . When the sun sets or rises and the camera switches from night to day mode there is a clicking noise in the camera. But what puzzles me is that it picks it up as a movement. I think this needs to be looked into. Kerry L.
Welcome to the forums!
The clicking noise is the mechanism that moves the IR filter inplace and retracts it. The “motion detection” in the cameras is pixel based. When pixels change, weither it be actual motion, or changes in light or shadows, it determines that as motion.

It could be sound detection. There’s lot’s of false movement though since there isn’t an actual motion sensor in the camera. It just uses software to base movement on pixel changes.

Sound detection is disabled
That is the first thing I thought of as well…
