New Feature Request - Battery Saver for Motion Sensors

Motion sensors tend to be located in high traffic areas. To avoid draining the batteries as fast, here is a suggestion. Provide an option in the sensor settings to turn its transmitter off when the sensor’s zone has been disarmed by the system. The tamper switch or low battery would still send an emergency signal, but extraneous motion wouldn’t trigger transmissions. You could do a health report every 45 minutes or so while in this mode. Then when the system rearms that zone, it could send a wake up signal to the motion sensor telling it to resume reporting all motion.

I understand that some applications of this sensor require 24/7 reporting of motion, but the vast majority of security applications do not.

This is a good idea, it seems like it could actually help battery in some cases.
